New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani’s administration backed a bankruptcy court bid by tenants seeking repairs at a Manhattan building controlled by Pinnacle Group LLC, saying the company hasn’t complied with remediation orders.
The building on 207th St. in Manhattan’s Inwood neighborhood has numerous outstanding housing violations that should be swiftly addressed by Pinnacle’s bankrupt units or Summit Properties USA, which has yet to close on a $451 million Chapter 11 purchase of the properties, the city’s Department of Housing Preservation and Development said in a filing Thursday with the US Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York. ...
