Novavax Names Margaret McGlynn Board Chair, Replacing Young

Novavax has named Margaret McGlynn as the next chair of its board, replacing longtime Chair James Young.

• Young to resign from the board effective March 10; had been chair since 2011
• McGlynn has served on Novavax’s board since 2020
  • Previously served as president of MErck’s Vaccines and Infectious Disease unit and as CEO of the International AIDS Vaccine Initiative
• John Shiver also named to board as independent director
