Creditors of bankrupt electric-vehicle maker Nikola Corp. have asked for court help to determine if the company’s founder can pay a $97 million arbitration award he owes the firm.
Former CEO Trevor Milton has been delaying discovery efforts and should be forced to respond by June 13 to requests for documents and a deposition about his current assets, a committee representing Nikola’s unsecured creditors told the US Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware in a Wednesday filing.
