NewAge Files for Chapter 11 Bankruptcy in Delaware

NewAge Inc, which describes itself as a direct-to-consumer organic and healthy products company, filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in Delaware on Tuesday, court papers show.

  • The publicly traded company listed assets and liabilities of at least $100 million each in its bankruptcy petition
  • NewAge said in June it was evaluating potential strategic alternatives to maximize shareholder value with the help of Houlihan Lokey
  • The case is NewAge Inc., 22-10819, U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware
