New Fortress Energy Seeks 10-Q Extension on Ongoing Credit Talks

New Fortress Energy delayed its 10-Q filing and is seeking an extension, citing “ongoing negotiations related to additional credit support that is required to be delivered under one of our debt instruments.”

  • Still completing its financial statement close process for the quarterly report
    • 2Q revenue from terminal operations significantly decreased compared with a year ago, largely related to a discontinued Puerto Rico power project, reduced Jamaica revenues and lower cargo sales
    • 2Q operating expenses significantly increased from a year ago due to goodwill and asset impairments’
