New Fortress Energy Bonds Sink to Record Low After 1Q Report

New Fortress Energy bonds plunged to fresh record lows Wednesday following the LNG company’s first-quarter report that included revenue that fell short of analysts’ forecasts.

  • The firm’s 6.5% note due 2026 fell 14 cents to 65.75 cents on the dollar as of 6:13pm ET, according to Trace
  • Its 8.75% bond due 2029 dropped 11 cents to 40 cents
  • Its shares sank 31% in postmarket trading
