National CineMedia Bondholders Haven’t Received Interest Payment

Some National CineMedia Inc. bondholders haven’t received an interest payment due Monday, starting the clock on a 30-day grace period to remedy the nonpayment, according to people with knowledge of the matter, who asked not to be named discussing private information.

A coupon of about $11 million was due Oct. 15 on its 5.875% secured notes due 2028. The notes on Tuesday fell as much as 11 cents on the dollar to about 47 cents, an all-time low, according to Trace data.

A representative for National CineMedia didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment.
