MetLife Clashes With Ares Over Struggling Football Investment

Two major financial firms have clashed over the restructuring of Eagle Football, the group that holds stakes in a number of football teams including the storied French club Olympique Lyonnais.

Ares Management is currently trying to restructure Eagle Football, which owns clubs in France, Brazil and Belgium, after the football group, founded and until last year led by John Textor, racked up massive loans.
