McDermott, Monkey Island LNG Report Pact to Increase LNG Output

McDermott was awarded a Master Services Agreement by Monkey Island LNG to increase LNG output by up to 60% per acre.

• McDermott to provide front-end engineering and planning services for Monkey’s natural gas liquefaction facility in Cameron Parish, Louisiana
• Expansion plans include two additional LNG trains, projected to bring total capacity to 26 MTPA
• Engineering and permitting are expected to begin in 2026
• First LNG production targeted for the early 2030s
• “Project represents a $25 billion investment across two phases,” Monkey Island CEO said in statement.
