Loma Negra Says InterCement Files for Protective Injunction

InterCement Participacoes, together with its unit InterCement Brasil SA, its subsidiaries in the Netherlands and Spain, and its controlling shareholder Mover Participacoes file for a projective injunction in Brazil.

• Injunction in support of court-supervised interim collective mediation process with principal financial creditors
• Loma Negra is not part of the preliminary injunction
• Preliminary injunction doesn’t affect InterCement or the affiliates’ obligations to their suppliers, employees, service providers, and business partners
• InterCement’s May 1 exclusivity arrangement with Companhia Siderurgica Nacional (CSN) with regard to its potential acquisition of all of InterCement’s outstanding capital stock expired and has not been renewed
