Lolli & Pops’ New Owner Trying to Resolve Lease Issues

Candy store chain Lolli & Pops’ new owner, which finalized its $2.4 million purchase this week, says it expects to reach deals with all landlords before leases are rejected March 9.

“The sale closed on Tuesday night,” the new owner’s attorney, Marc J. Carmel of McDonald Hopkins LLC, told a bankruptcy court in Wilmington, Del., on Thursday. “We are now owners of a fabulous franchise with over 60 locations.”
