Liquidators Receive Court Approval To Conduct Deb Shops Store-Closing Sales

Deb Shops, a mall-based retailer catering to junior and plus-sized female customers, received court approval for liquidators to conduct chain-wide store-closing sales (In re Deb Stores Holding LLC, Bankr. D. Del., 14-12676, sale approved 1/7/15).

U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Kevin Gross in Delaware signed an order Jan. 7 authorizing a Hilco Merchant Resources LLC and Gordon Brothers Retail Partners LLC joint venture to sell off merchandise at about 290 retail stores along with furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
