Limetree Bay Terminals Taps Advisers Before Refinery Bankruptcy

Limetree Bay’s terminal business has tapped financial and legal advisers to help it navigate financial strains stemming from an affiliated refinery unit.

The St. Croix-based company, which stores crude oil and other petroleum products, is getting financial advice from Alvarez & Marsal Inc. and legal counsel from Hunton Andrews Kurth, according to people with knowledge of the matter. Evercore Inc. is serving as its investment banker, the people added, asking not to be named because discusions are private.

The hires come as Limetree Bay’s refining business is seeking so-called debtor-in-possession financing to help it through a bankruptcy filing, Bloomberg ...
