Levin Furniture to Pay $25.7 Million for 32 Art Van Stores

Former Levin Furniture store owner Robert Levin, who in March backed out of a deal to buy 44 stores from Art Van Furniture LLC, has now agreed to buy 32 stores for $25.7 million.

The proposed deal, filed with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware, would transfer the assets of 32 Levin Mattress and Levin Furniture stores in Pennsylvania and Ohio to Levin Furniture LLC and Levin Trucking LLC, entities that Levin controls.
