Former owners, officers and directors of senior care home operator LaVie Care Centers LLC were sued by an unsecured creditors’ trustee who accused them of raiding the company’s assets and siphoning funds to insiders ahead of its bankruptcy.
The complaint, which alleges the former leaders conducted a “pre-bankruptcy raid” of LaVie’s assets between 2020 and 2024, was temporarily sealed on Monday by Judge Paul Baisier of the US Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Georgia.
