Latam Air’s $3 Billion Claims Group ‘Pivotal’ for Exit: Lawyer

A large group of unsecured Latam Airlines Group SA claim holders “will need to play an important and pivotal role” in the carrier’s exit from bankruptcy, Rachael Ringer of Kramer Levin said on behalf of the group.

  • The group “fully intends to play an active role” in bankruptcy plan negotiations, Ringer said
  • Comments came when the ad hoc group, which holds some $3B of claims at the Latam parent level, made its first appearance in the bankruptcy proceedings at a hearing Wednesday
