The entire inventory of toxic hand sanitizer produced by 4E Brands North America LLC is nearly destroyed following a yearlong process plagued by failed ideas and ill-equipped vendors.
The company is a bankrupt unit of Kimberly-Clark de Mexico and was approved to wind down in Chapter 11 last year. It told the US Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Texas on Tuesday that all of its tainted hand sanitizer in Texas has been successfully disposed of, and that remaining inventory in Oklahoma will be destroyed by early October.
