Judge Asks PG&E Creditors Why He Should Reverse Course

U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Dennis Montali says issue of whether PG&E should keep exclusive control of its restructuring process was just recently “fully briefed, argued and decided.”

  • Creditors including Elliott and Pimco who are fighting once again for PG&E to be stripped of exclusivity should “focus on what has changed in such a short period of time to justify reversing course”
  • Montali asks creditors whether their own proposed restructuring plan should be considered as a “back-up” in case PG&E’s plan doesn’t move forward
