IronNet, Cyber Firm Once Run by Ex-Spy Chief, Files Bankruptcy

IronNet Inc., the cybersecurity firm started former spy chief, retired General Keith B. Alexander, filed bankruptcy in Delaware to try to revive the company by finding a buyer.

  • The company said in a Chapter 11 petition that it only has $77,000 in assets, but owes creditors $33.8 million
  • In a regulatory filing earlier this week, the company said it has a deal to borrow as much as $10 million to help pay for its reorganization in bankruptcy; last week, the company warned investors that it was firing all employees, ceasing operations and would likely liquidate
