Indonesia’s Hanson International Declared Bankrupt by Court

Central Jakarta district court has ended the debt suspension process against Hanson International and declared co. bankrupt, according to stock exchange filing.

  • Court issued ruling in Aug. 12 session, co.’s director Hartono Santoso said in filing submitted to stock exchange on Aug. 29
  • Co. to take legal measures in accordance with bankruptcy and debt suspension law
  • NOTE: Co.’s is controlled by businessman Benny Tjokrosaputro, arrested as part of investigation over mounting losses of state insurer PT Asuransi Jiwasraya
