Indiana Downs Files Chapter 11 in Delaware Despite Earning Increased Revenues in 2010

Indianapolis Downs LLC and its affiliate Indiana Downs Capital Corp. filed for Chapter 11 protection in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware April 7 (In re Indianapolis Downs LLC).

The Shelbyville, Ind.-based company, doing business as Indiana Downs and Indiana Live!, operates an entertainment complex comprised of a racetrack and a casino 25 miles outside of Indianapolis, employing between 1,100 and 1,300 employees, court documents indicate.
