Hotel Operator Couture Files For Chapter 11 Protection in Dallas

Couture Hotel Corp., the owner of four hotels, filed a Chapter 11 petition in Dallas Oct. 7 because lenders declined to restructure matured mortgages (In re Couture Hotel Corp., Bankr. N.D. Tex., 14-34874, petition filed 10/7/14).

The company owns and operates a Wyndham Garden Inn in Dallas and a Howard Johnson in Corpus Christi, Texas, according to court papers. At an entrance to Nellis Air Force base in North Las Vegas, the company owns and operates a Howard Johnson and an independent hotel.
