HIG Capital Makes Fresh Move to Delist Brazil’s Kora Saude (1)

Kora Saude Participações SA’s majority shareholder is making another attempt to delist the Brazilian health-care company from B3’s Novo Mercado after its previous attempt a few months ago failed to persuade minority shareholders. Shares in Kora jumped.

HIG Capital, through the investment fund Viso Advantage, is offering to pay 8.80 reais ($1.45) per share to minority shareholders to take Kora private, according to a Sunday filing. The offer represents a premium of about 30% from the stock’s closing price of 6.72 reais on Friday.
