HearUSA Emerges From Ch. 11 Amidst Allegations Against Siemens

HearUSA Inc. (now known as HUSA Liquidating Corporation) has emerged from Chapter 11 protection after its liquidation plan became effective June 18.

The company originally filed for Chapter 11 protection on May 16, 2011, in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Florida (23 BBLR 629, 5/19/11).

Liquidating Trust.

On the effective date, the company entered into a liquidating trust agreement with Joseph J. Luzinski, the liquidating trustee.
