Hawkeye Renewables LLC, with ethanol plants in Iowa Falls and Fairbank, Iowa, announced June 21 that it successfully emerged June 18 from its Chapter 11 restructuring under new equity ownership.
Hawkeye Renewables, based in Ames, Iowa, filed for Chapter 11 protection Dec. 21 in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware (In re Hawkeye Renewables LLC)(22 BBLR 10, 1/7/10).
Hawkeye Renewables, also known as Iowa Falls Ethanol Plant LLC, is a subsidiary of Hawkeye Energy Holdings LLC.
Earlier this month, Hawkeye Renewables received confirmation of its reorganization plan from the bankruptcy court.
