H2O Receives €250 Million to Start Repaying Trapped Clients (1)

H2O Asset Management has received €250 million ($263 million) to help pay back investors who have had money locked up since 2020 after the firm was forced to freeze some funds.

The process of repaying holders of seven vehicles known as side pockets “will be initiated in the next few days,” the investment firm said in a press release dated Tuesday.

H2O said it received a partial reimbursement of a note issued by Lars Windhorst’s Tennor Holding BV at the end of December, enabling it to begin repayments. The €250 million will go some way to repaying investors, but ...
