GTT Communications Kicks Off Bankruptcy With First-Day Approvals

GTT Communications received court approval on a raft of first-day motions that will allow it to continue operating while it aims to cut nearly all of its $3 billion debt load through bankruptcy.

  • Judge Michael Wiles approved motions that would halt claims against the company, and allow it to pay employee wages and trade claims in a hearing in New York Wednesday
