A trustee for Aegean Marine Network Petroleum Network Inc.'s bankruptcy estate is seeking to subpoena documents from the fuel shipper’s auditors, the Greek units of PricewaterhouseCoopers and Deloitte, in a probe over failures to detect the company’s misappropriation of $300 million.
The trustee, who was appointed to litigate claims on behalf of Aegean Marine’s Chapter 11 estate, is seeking authorization from the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York for documents from PricewaterhouseCoopers SA and Deloitte Certified Public Accountants SA and their U.S.-based counterparts.
