GPA Reviews Deadline of Expansion Plan From 2024 to 2026

GPA said it reviewed the deadline for the opening of 300 stores from 2024 to 2026, due to considerations about optimizing the company’s investment level, according to a statement late Monday.

• The company originally planned to open 300 stores in the period between 2022 and 2024
• Of the 300 stores, 121 have already been opened by Sept. 2023 and 11 are expected to be opened in 4Q 2023, totaling 132 new stores
• The company said it should have the remaining 168 stores opening between Jan. 2024 and Dec. 2026
