GoHealth Files Prepackaged Chapter 11 Bankruptcy in Delaware

GoHealth, Inc. says it filed voluntary prepackaged Chapter 11 bankruptcy petitions in the US Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware to implement a restructuring plan.

• The plan will transition ownership of the company to certain of GoHealth’s lenders, reinstate the preferred equity of GoHealth, Inc., provide for payment in full of trade payables and other ordinary course obligations
  • Plan will also provide a cash payment to holders of GoHealth common equity
• The plan received support from 100% of lenders and over 60% of Class A stockholders
