Tom Girardi’s Head Accountant Gets 10-Year Prison Sentence (1)

Former Girardi Keese CFO Christopher Kamon, who helped convicted ex-lawyer Tom Girardi steal millions of dollars in client settlement funds and ran his own fraud on the firm, was sentenced Friday to 121 months in prison.

The ruling makes Kamon, 51, the first member of Girardi’s inner orbit to face a prison sentence over settlement funds stolen from clients whose lives had been shattered by gas explosions, car crashes, and faulty medical devices.
