A right-wing news website’s bankruptcy case should be tossed out, according to two Georgia poll workers it accused of rigging the 2020 presidential election.
TGP Communications LLC, publishing as The Gateway Pundit, filed for bankruptcy in April amid a 2021 Missouri lawsuit brought by Ruby Freeman and Wandrea’ ArShaye “Shaye” Moss alleging defamation and intentional infliction of emotional distress.
The poll workers asked the US Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Florida on May 31 to dismiss the case, arguing the Chapter 11 was filed to delay state defamation litigation pending against the news site. The site’s owner ...
