Bankrupt Furie Operating Alaska LLC agreed to push back its sale by a month after creditors’ pushback.
Some creditors—including a former employee with a wage and claim, a group of royalty owners, and Shelf Drilling Offshore Resources Limited II, a company that is litigating with Furie over a $12 million claim—told a Delaware bankruptcy judge at a Sept. 17 hearing that the sale was moving too fast. They also said the terms of a $15 million bankruptcy loan from pre-bankruptcy lenders only benefit the lenders.
