A retired New York bankruptcy judge will mediate a bankrupt FTX Trading Ltd. affiliate’s tussle to get back $446 million of loans paid back to Voyager Digital Ltd.
The US Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware on Tuesday approved an agreement to appoint Shelley C. Chapman as a mediator and divide the costs evenly between FTX and Voyager, which is also in bankruptcy.
Chapman, who’s a senior counsel at Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP, is a former judge for the US Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York.
