FTC Wins Injunction Against Allegedly Fraudulent Mortgage Relief Operation

A mortgage relief operation consisting of three individuals and seven companies must respond to allegations that they deceived and preyed on distressed homeowners, after the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California entered a temporary restraining order, the Federal Trade Commission announced on July 2 (FTC v. A To Z Marketing, Inc., C.D. Cal., No. 8:13-cv-00919-DOC-RBN).

The defendants are:

  • A To Z Marketing, Inc., also doing business as Client Services;
  • Apex Members, LLC, also doing business as Apex Solutions, also doing business as MacArthur Financial Group;
