FTC Touts First Complaint Against Payday Loan Debt Relief Defendants

The Federal Trade Commission said on Feb. 24 that it had filed its first complaint challenging an operation making false promises to help consumers with outstanding payday loan debt (FTC v. PSC Administrative, LLC, S.D. Ala., 1:15-cv-00084, 2/18/15).

The complaint, filed in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Alabama, cited:

  • PSC Administrative, LLC, formerly known as Payday Support Center, LLC;
  • Coastal Acquisitions, LLC, doing business as Infinity Client Solutions;
  • iNfinityCollect, LLC;
  • Jared Irby; and
  • Richard Hughes.
