FTC, New York Attorney General Challenge Two Debt Collection Operations

The Federal Trade Commission and New York’s attorney general jointly filed complaints in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of New York against “two particularly egregious and abusive debt collection operations”—namely, Vantage Point Services, LLC and 4 Star Resolution, LLC (FTC v. Vantage Point Services, LLC, W.D.N.Y., 1:15-cv-00006-WMS, 1/5/15,FTC v. 4 Star Resolution, LLC, W.D.N.Y., 1:15-cv-00112-WMS, 2/9/15 ).
