Fisker’s Austrian Unit Begins Insolvency Proceedings

Fisker GmbH, the Austrian unit of electric vehicle maker Fisker Inc., has filed for self-administration in the country, according to a statement.

• Fisker Austria will continue paying employees and selling vehicles throughout the proceeding
• Fisker’s other entities aren’t included in the restructuring proceeding
• Fisker Austria “intends to continue delivering its vehicles to customers to the extent possible” along with providing service and software updates throughout the restructuring process, the company said in the statement
