First Brands Lenders Meet, Mull Adding New Chapter 11 Adviser

Lenders who offered First Brands Groupfunding during its bankruptcy process huddled Wednesday to discuss hiring an additional advisory firm to assist in the complex restructuring efforts at the auto supplier, according to people familiar with the discussion, who asked not to be named relaying the contents of a confidential meeting.

  • The group’s current advisers include Gibson Dunn & Crutcher and Evercore Inc., while the company is working with Weil Gotshal & Manges and investment bank Lazard Inc.
