Fiber Firm Everstream Gets $300 Million Starting Bid for Assets

Bankrupt fiber-network provider Everstream Solutions LLC lined up a starting bid of $300 million in cash for virtually all of its assets.

The bidder is listed in court documents as Metro Everstream Bidco LLC. An auction scheduled for Tuesday includes another $300 bid from Fiber TopCo LLC and an initial $285 million stalking horse bid from Bluebird MidWest LLC that was filed at the outset of the Chapter 11 case in the US Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Texas.

All three bids include the assumption of certain liabilities, according to Monday notice from the company.
