Faraday Founder Faces New Bankruptcy Creditor: His Wife

Jia Yueting, the bankrupt founder of electric car startup Faraday & Future, updated his Chapter 11 plan, revealing a $571 million claim from his wife who recently filed for divorce.

The business mogul, who is accused of fleeing China after amassing billions of dollars in debt, is seeking to bind creditors to the amended Chapter 11 plan that also would restructure his liabilities and release possible legal claims against him and various business entities.
