Evergrande Liquidators Seek Asset Freeze on Former CEO’s Ex-Wife

Liquidators of China Evergrande Group are asking a Hong Kong court to freeze all assets of the former chief executive officer’s ex-wife, He Kun, as part of their efforts to recover $6 billion in funds for creditors.

There’s already an injunction on some of He Kun’s assets, including property and motor vehicles valued at an estimated $24 million, but liquidators are looking to extend that to cover her liquid assets as well.
