Endo Trustee Beats Insurer Bid to Move Coverage Suit to Delaware

Endo International Plc’s bankruptcy litigation trustee defeated insurers’ attempt to move a coverage dispute related to claims surrounding opioids and heartburn products to a Delaware state court.

The insurers were trying to resolve coverage battles with the trust handling the claims in the Delaware Superior Court, but Judge James L. Garrity, Jr. of the US Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York rejected their motion Wednesday.
