Phil McGraw, the daytime television personality known as Dr. Phil, is facing a deposition from a creditor—a professional bull-riding organization—over his bankrupt media venture, Merit Street Media Inc.
The subpoena seeks a wide range of records from McGraw related to Merit’s financial health, his separate production company, and Merit’s Christian broadcast partner Trinity Broadcasting of Texas Inc., according to a notice filed Wednesday by Professional Bull Riders LLC in the US Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Texas.
