Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, has helped bring down a famed paparazzi company.
Splash News & Picture Agency, which distributes celebrity photos and videos, filed for bankruptcy this week, citing financial woes stemming from litigation, including a U.K. privacy suit brought by Meghan over photos taken of her and her son, Archie.
The company was also reeling from a separate employment lawsuit and the Covid-19 pandemic, which kept even celebrities at home and slashed the budgets of the publications most hungry for paparazzi shots. In June, it received a default notice related to debt it had guaranteed, according to
