DISTRESSED DAILY: Dressbarn Owner Puts Headquarters Up For Sale

The owner of the Dressbarn, Ann Taylor and other clothing chains has put its New Jersey headquarters -- a roughly 200,000 square foot, “state-of-the-art” office building with a gym, outdoor patio and even a bocce ball court -- up for sale, according to the listing.

• Ascena Retail Group Inc. is selling the property as it grapples with competition in the retail business. Last year, it decided to shutter Dressbarn’s approximately 650 stores.
