Dish’s Retail Chief Kelly Is Leaving After Less Than a Year

Dish Network, the pay-TV and wireless provider, said Michael Kelly is leaving as head of the company’s retail mobile-phone business after less than a year following continued subscriber losses.

Dish, a unit of EchoStar Corp., said in a statement Wednesday that Kelly had resigned. Hamid Akhavan, EchoStar’s chief executive officer, will oversee the business while the company seeks a successor.
