Dex One Files Chapter 11 in Delaware To Effectuate Merger with SuperMedia

Dex One Corporation and 11 affiliated entities filed for Chapter 11 protection on March 17 in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware (In re Dex One Corporation, Bankr. D. Del., No. 13-10533).

Court documents state that the debtors are based in Cary, N.C., where they employ about 2,200 people. The debtors provide marketing services for local businesses, including business and market analysis, branding services, search engine optimization, and website/mobile site design, as well as a series of print advertising directories.
