Desktop Metal Trust Sues Former Directors, Nano Over 2025 Merger

Former directors of Desktop Metal Inc., a 3D printing company that last year filed for bankruptcy in the wake of a litigious merger with Nano Dimension Ltd., were sued for allegedly paying themselves while abandoning $115 million in lender liabilities.

A bankruptcy trust formed to recoup funds for Desktop Metal creditors filed suit in the US Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Texas taking aim at several parties involved in the 2025 corporate merger, which preceded the company’s immediate collapse and failure to pay noteholder obligations.
