A group of debt relief marketers and companies agreed to pay a $7.9 million judgment to resolve Federal Trade Commission charges that they scammed consumers (FTC v. DebtPro 123 LLC, C.D. Cal., 8:14-cv-00693-AG-AN, 9/29/15).
The proposed settlements were entered in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California against Bryan Taylor, the owner and manager of the corporate defendants; and codefendants Ryan Foland, Stacey Frion, and Kara Wilbur Taylor.
